Aims & Scope

The Journal of Advances in Nutrition and Health Research is a peer-reviewed international publication dedicated to advancing knowledge in nutrition, health sciences, and their intersection with public policy, clinical practice, and global health initiatives. The journal aims to provide a platform for disseminating cutting-edge research that explores the relationships between nutrition, health, disease prevention, and management at the individual, population, and societal levels. The journal seeks to publish original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, clinical studies, and policy papers that contribute to understanding nutrition's role in enhancing health outcomes and reducing disease risk. The scope includes but is not limited to the following areas:

Clinical nutrition and therapeutics: Research on how diet affects the prognosis and management of long-term conditions such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, cancer, and metabolic disorders.

Public health nutrition: Studies examined how dietary changes affected population-level illness prevention, health promotion, and community health.

Nutritional Biochemistry and Metabolism: Studies of the biochemical processes that underlie the roles of nutrients, the connections between nutrients and genes, and the regulation of metabolism.

Functional foods and Nutraceuticals: Research on the health-promoting qualities of dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, and functional foods, as well as regulatory issues, safety, and effectiveness.

Global Health and Nutrition: Research on nutritional challenges in different cultural, economic, and environmental contexts, including malnutrition, food security, and the impact of climate change on health.

Nutritional Epidemiology: Population-based studies examining dietary patterns, nutritional status, and their associations with disease risk and health outcomes.

Nutritional Genomics: Research on how genetics and individual variability influence nutritional needs and responses, with an emphasis on personalised nutrition approaches.

Maternal and Child Nutrition: Studies focused on the impact of nutrition on maternal health, pregnancy outcomes, infant and child development, and long-term health.

Sports Nutrition and Performance: Research on the influence of nutrition on physical performance, recovery, and injury prevention in athletes and physically active populations.

Food Policy and Regulation: Studies looking at how laws affect food systems, nutritional conditions, and public health effects.
